I&#8217;m Anand. I&#8217;m a guitarist with over 13 years of playing experience. I started guitar when I was 14 years old on an acoustic, took lessons with the legendary guitarist Shawn Fleming for 5 years, and then went to music school to pursue my bachelor&#8217;s degree in music. I have experience with composing, transcribing, arranging, music directing, and gigging.<\/p><p>I have played in numerous bands for the past 6 years of varying genres that consist of:<\/p><ul><li>Rock\/Blues<\/li><li>Jazz (straight-ahead, fusion, smooth)<\/li><li>Funk<\/li><li>Metal (progressive or otherwise)<\/li><\/ul><p>Experienced in the following fields:<\/p><ul><li>Studio work, live playing, arranging(For small group, or big band)<\/li><li>Solo playing(singer songwriter setting or solo jazz\/contemporary arrangements)<\/li><li>Touring: I have toured a good portion of the United States and have played in Egypt<\/li><li><u>TEACHING:<\/u>\u00a0I have been teaching private guitar, bass, basic piano, mandolin, ukulele for over 6 years.
